| Post subject: Recommendation for good kindergartens (international/local) |
Dear all,
We are probably moving to Shanghai this summer. We want to get some recommendations for good kindergartens which also provide English classes. If English classes is not available, then just good kindergartens will do.
My son is almost 4 years old, my daughter is 2 years old.
Thanks a lot. |

Hi, I just found my son a kindergarten in PuDong area for this summer. It's called "Liu Shi Kung Music and Art Kindergarten". It provides english lesson, along with the concentration on music and art. The cost is about $300 a month. We're also planning to move to Shanghai for couple of years. Maybe we can keep in touch. |

Ah I typed everything, and was about to send, there was an error, my message is gone. I don't want to retype all again. Nchang, did you get my email or my PM? Please write me back I'll give you the exact address and phone number of the place I know. (in Pudong)
I just knew this place and started to send my daughter of 2 1/2 yrs old there everyday from 8-11 am. It's local, and they only speak Chinese, but some teachers can speak English. It's for children upto 3-4. In Pudong (Weifang road vs Dongfang Road).
I paid 600 RMB for 8-11am mOnday -friday. My daughter doens't speak English nor Chinese but she seems to like it. My Chinese friends said it's not expensive. They are newly opened, all toys are new, place is VERY clean!
Hello CCAJ2004
Do you also live in Pudong? Would you mind giving me your email, maybe we can have children play together. |

Hi Cata,
I'm planning to relocate to Shanghai from US this summer since my husband is currently doing business in Shanghai area. I have two kids, one is 4 1/2, the other is 6 1/2. I'll live in my parents' apartment in PuDong LianYang district. My e-mail is: carinajhan@yahoo.com. I'm currently in Shanghai, and will go back to US at the end of this month, but plan to come back before school starts. Let's keep in touch! |

I have posted an extensive introduction on a school which I feel very comfortable to recommend to all of you because I myself is a parent in that school.
Please take some time and view my article on the title:
"Excellent and INEXPENSIVE School from K-12". I am referring this school to share info. not for profit, I hope everyone not take my message wrong.
FYI. the school is in Pudong, near Zhang Jiang Hi Tech. |

Update! For your information,
that pre-school I mentioned long time ago (above) is not good any more. I didn't send my daughter there since a long time. Moreover, I heard it's closing for a certain political reason. They are going to change owner & team..
BTW, anybody knows a good preschool for foreign kids with reasonable fee? Thank you |

Hi Bursa, can I have the contact information of the French kindergarten? Is it ok for my child to attend a French kindergarten even though we are not French? We are thinking that it would be good for our child to learn different languages. |

Dear All,
I will be moving down to SH with my daughter, who by then is about 19 months. I'm looking for international preschool in Pudong which offer playgroups or some phonic classes (in English) suitable for my girl.
Any recommendations ?
