| Post subject: Changing Z visa to a student visa |
I used to work in Shanghai but now I am going travelling in Europe, and then I am coming back to study. Since I have a valid residence permit, is it then easier for me to enter China, and then change to visa to a student visa once I am here? Or should I take care of this overseas?
Also, do u think they demand much paper work for changing a Z to a X visa? Last time I changed my X visa to a Z visa and that was a bit painful, although the company I worked for took care of it. But they wanted so many documents, as well as a new medical test. |

should be no problem. changing to student visa just takes the school to provide paperwork and sometimes they will even send it in for you. |
