So the wait continues lol, last time I try and plan an evening - now its depending on their work situation again. If they get things done, then we'll trot on over, if not... looks like I have to be dragged to the shopping mall...

Screw the workload, why do today what can be put off till tomorrow, or next week?
If she's having man trouble there will be plenty of single chaps for her to ask an opinion.
So take back the pants, and demand that her and the wife (??) go out and socialise. |

Shanghai Expat's Wednesday Night Mixer Has been held now for over 3 years, held EVERY Wednesday night. New expats or veterans, and even the regular irregular visitor are all welcome to come enjoy this spacious venue with friends where standard drinks are only 25rmb! I just wanted to get this thread back on the home page so maybe someone else will have the good luck I had and learn about the mixer .... great fun .... newbies won't be strangers very long at these 'git-2-gethers'. If you are new, then I'll be the slightly elderly gentleman in the black shirt and pants that needs to stand closer to his razor .... also, I have a very wide part in my hair. lolol |

I still remember when there used to be a dvd guy that worked the inside of Malones selling dvd's. then he had to move outside b/c of liability to the restaurant, and finally, he became a partner in a store... |
