| Post subject: recommend a place to stay in Phuket |
Does anyone have and recommendations for affordable (under $100) bungalows, resorts, or hotels in Karon or Kata beach (NO PATONG) in Phuket?
I prefer someplace within a 5 minute walk to the beach, clean, good service, etc.
Anyone stayed at Sugar Palms Resort before?
Thanks. |

we stayed at Karon Beach Resort, I think is this name...
it's less than 5 min.walking to the beach, very nice bangalows, 2 restaurants, 2 swimingpools, spa...
we never, ever pay more than US$100!
and they have free shuttle bus twice a day to 2 locations nearby, good for shopping!
I will put some pics: |

We are considering Kata or Karon Beach resort, just need to chill really with a few restaurants nearby and a couple of interesting attractions to visit, which is better? |

Most hotels are located very close to the beach. Try and look at www.phuket.com
I agree with Patong as this is the party beach full of bars and girls! |

Tony Resort in Patong....
On the first main road back parrallel to the beach. About a 10 minute walk actually. But clean and quiet.
Check Hotelsthailand.com.....very reliable booking service.
Dazz....I prfer Karon...some really excellent restaurants ...Let me dig in the card file and post a few if I can find them |
