| Post subject: Need your suggestion with regards to visa of my |
My company in Shanghai is sending me the employment license, which I will use to get a Z visa. My spouse will come to Shanghai with me. He does not have a visa nor a job yet and it seems that he has two options in terms of getting his visa to China:
1. He comes with me as my spouse under my Z visa ( I do not know what type of visa is that)
2. He comes with a tourist visa
I want to know whether it is easy to transfer his visa in option 1 to a independent working visa if he finds a job in Shanghai.
Also, is it hard to renew his tourist visa in Shanghai if he choose to come in the 2nd option. |

It's easy and cheap. It's also only good for 30 days. |

have him come with you under your Z visa. that will save time and effort regarding renewals and entry stays. when he finds a job, he can apply for his own Z visa, provided the company is able to legally hire foreigners. |

Yep, Magnolia gave the right advice. Go for the spouse visa, and sort the rest out later once he gets a job. |
