| Post subject: Country to country travel on toursist visas |
I am wondering if the following is possible: Go on a tourist visa rount-trip ticket to Shanghai, China, and while on my tourist visa go out of China and to another country like Japan or Thailand, then return to China to depart for the US. I have heard of people traveling through South East asia but wondering how they do it as re-entry permits are required as well as other issues. Is there a better way to do this other than what I suggested? |

Yes its possible, very simple actually, as visas can be applied for either single entries or many entries. Just be sure to apply for t a multi-entry Chinese tourist visa for your trip. If you bring your itinerary with you to the consulate (or provide a copy), youc an apply for a multi entry visa.
Amazing what you can find with Google. But since you didnt, this may help...
