| Post subject: salary after tax |
I have been offered a job at a global health care company of about USD 45K/year before tax in China is deducted. I will be paid in RMB (but hiring manager only quoted me the USD amount)
Does anyone have any idea what the heck would this equal in RMB after tax per month roughly? What is the average tax expats on a salary of about RMB330K/year pay?
They did mention a certain percentage is not taxed and after that I can claim back rent and two flights home to the US. But I really have no idea what taxes in China are like for an expat
I know the exchange rate with USD is low, around 7.4 now.
I am at the initial stages of negotiating, and appreciate any info. thanks. |
