Post subject: questions about work salary/benefits in shanghai
Hello all,
I am currently looking to find a job in SH. Have a couple interview lined up with multinational companies.
My questions are:
1. is there a site that lists salary ranges for jobs in SH? (something similar to salary.com)
2. if ur salary is 10k RMB a month, is that after tax or before tax? How much is tax in SH?
3. How many days of holiday is normal in SH? I know you get the government mandated holiday off (1st of may and 1st of october, plus Chinese new year, but other than this are there extra days?
4. What other benefits do people usually negotiate before accepting a position?
5. What other things I should notice before accepting a position?
