Best place for Visa in Hong Kong?

Post subject: Best place for Visa in Hong Kong?

My business partner flies in to HK next week and needs to get a visa as quick as possible.

Is it best to get it done at the airport? Can he get a long visa done on the same day or next day?

6 month multiple entry F visa would be most useful - is this still possible?

Forgot to say - he's on a UK passport.

^ Worst case scenario, he can go to the PRC visa office and get a visa in the same day if he gets there in the a.m..

I do recall others saying you could get a visa in the airport, but I'm not sure.
