Portman...AKA Ritz Carlton.
Say Port-a-man....and any taxi can get you there.

Malones and Spot Bar around the corner on Tong Ren Lu.
One block east

There is a City Supermarket in the back left hand corner of the Portman Shanghai Centre, 1376 Nan Jing Xi Rd, Jing An District. Malones is in Tong Rd which is next street up from the Shanghai Centre, heading west. Turn right when you get there and go up to the Y-intersction. It is on the corner. Another place is City Diner which is in Tong Ren but you turn left when coming from the Shanghai Centre. It is in the first block on the left (2nd flr).

Moon River Diner - 4 locations across Shanghai, always been good for a nice milkshake or meatloaf or just a basic burger. Nice comfort food with decent service.

Malones- excellent burger.

Kabb / Blue Frog also do a good job- several locations across town.

DeliNYC - for sandwiches in American portions.

As for snacks and such, City Supermarket is probably your best bet for the imported stuff.

Both Yanlord and Oasis next door have convenience store located inside/near management building. They carry some 'Western' snacks, expect to pay a bit of a premium though.
