Any updates for today, Jan 29th? My husband is there with no news of his flight which was supposed to leave at 7am. He said there are passengers who have been stranded there for days and have begun a prοtest, overturning counters and stacking chairs in front of gates. He said there are not enough seats for everyone who is waiting.

No one from airport authority is giving them an update. He asked the duty supervisor who said he had no idea what was going on.

mrc112, are you referring to the Hong Qiao airport or Pudong Airport?

Sorry, Hong Qiao. My husband just returned home as his flight was canceled though the airline never announced the cancellation. It was only after waiting in a long line and asking the ticket counter that he found out the flight was canceled.

People still protesting out there.
