| Post subject: Disk Kart |
A friend told me that a 20 year old kid died at the disk kart track a few days ago. I didn't see anything in the English paper. Is this true? Anybody hear what happened?
He said it was a heart attack.....i can see that happening, maybe on the high speed turn toward the end of the circuit. |

It seems on March 2nd in the afternoon, a man, who had come with his Girlfriend to enjoy an afternoon at DiscKart died while in line for more tickets. He had just completed a run and was very excited to get back on the track. But as he approached the ticket counter, he collapsed. Emergency crews were summmoned but were unable to revive him. He was 32.
That was the official story anyhow, according the the Oriental Morning Post, poorly translated by yours truly. |

dont go there.
those batardz have zero safety. i broke 7 bones there as the huge concrete pillars (in the middle of the track on the corner )have no padding on. they jerked me around, wasting my time then denied any responsibility. costs me thousands and months to recover.
i know of another guy who broke his neck
they r scum. very typical chinese business |

^ occured at OLD location on Aomen Lu no? New track is very different. The track tickets state user assumes all responsibility so...
used to go regularly and was always amazed at the stupidity of some of the otehr participants. ranging from not being able to drive to just being way too drunk. Things seemed to be better at the nbew location but have not been out there enough to assess. best best is weekend afternoons, less drinks, less drunks. |

The fact they let people on the track if they have been drinking shows the safety is not up to standard. You should not be able to drive if you have had ANY drink.
PS- from a legal perspective (at least in a Western Country) disclaimers of liability are invalid in respect of disclaiming negligence. A supplier of services cannot contract out of their duty of care. In China, well...... |
