a bit ,a little (numerals measure words)
1.我会说一点儿汉语。
wǒ huì shuō yī diǎnr hàn yǔ .
I can speak a little Chinese.
2.这本书贵了一点儿。
zhè běn shū ɡuì le yī diǎnr 。
This book is a bit expensive.
So the sentence what we talked last time is wrong.Do you remember?

The book is bit dear.
We should say 这本书贵了一点儿 or 这本书有点儿贵。
