I used to love riding my Honda 550 up the mountains or down the coast roads back home in Oz but I would never contemplate riding here. Even if you can "gun it" on the newly built freeways you have to have confidence that other road users wouldn't turn across you, throw a U turn, wander into your lane or slam on the brakes all without any warning at all. I would be stressed to the eyeballs here if I were riding. Sure takes the joy out of riding.

one of the bike shops out at the Tianma Circuit has always a few second hand Ducati's and other big bikes of questionable origin for sale....

How about a 200-250 cc 4 stroke off road with about 10" of suspension ? Just came accross a company in chongqing called shineray that looks ok. |

Jialing does a 600cc enduro type bike now, looks fugly....

Basically you won't have very much luck riding a motorcycle in innner shanghai but you may wanna consider a SIDECAR...Since its three wheels there are not cc restrictions. I have a referral if you would like.
