Post subject: Best Patios of 2008

perhaps there's already a thread out there, but Shanghai changes so fast, update update!!

the weather is getting really nice, what do you think are the best patios in town? I went to Urbn hotel this weekend and thought it was beautiful. Stiff cocktails and not too noisy.

in preparation for (fingers crossed) another beautiful weekend, suggest the BEST PATIO!!!!

El Willys? Cottons? Sashas?

preferably with trees and shrubs and a little shade.

I really like the veranda at the Mansion Hotel on Xinle Lu, Xiangyang Lu.

The restaurant attached to Attica is nice too, good view onto the Bund from the Puxi side.

Barbarosa in People's Square, Element Fresh in the Superbrand mall on the Pudong side.

Agree about room 28 / URBN, really nice little corner there, very quiet too.

No doubt, 2008 will see The Shed patio become the talking point of the town.

do people actually go to Kakadu? I last went there and it was completely empty.

We told the manager who came to greet us that we found this place through the Enjoy book, and are here to enjoy the enjoy coupon.

He replied "oh, we call that the annoy card..."
