The Flock

Never really rated Richard Gere as an actor, but I changed my mind after watching him act in his most ugliest darkest role to date. He plays a washed up employee of the Dept of Public Safety, who has to track down a missing girl, who is linked to one of the sex offenders he counsels. It is very similar to 8mm in some ways, and Andrew Lau did a pretty neat job, however the Tony Scott esq MTV styled visuals in some scenes were a little unwatchable.

3.5/5

Documentary

Olympic Spirit 1/5

Tells of the origins and how the Olympic games have evolved from the beginning to present...boring.

Chinese Period movie.
Actually good. They could have done better with the fight scenes

Hatchet

Another Slasher movie resemblant of the corny 80's, lots of gore but really wasn't really bothered about the main characters getting killed or not.

2.5/5

"Iron Man"

The fun is in the smart performances, but for my money, when it comes to Marvel movie adaptations, Ang Lee's woefully under-rated "Hulk" can't be beat for high style and intelligence.

Good casting too, as Robert Downey Jr. has previously (and often) demonstrated his "flying" abilities.

Iron Man. 3/5. Expected more sophisticated villain than just a copycat ironbot. The fighting scene reminded me of Robocop. Confused

An American Crime- chilling Lordoftheflies type with rednecks. Great performance by Keener and Ellen Page.

Took Fiddlers advice and have just finished watching it. Simply stunning camera work and beautiful scenery throughout. Highly recommended.
