| Post subject: BBS for Hong Kong? |
Is there a local equivalent to Shanghaiexpat for Hong Hong? I'm looking for some local info that should best come from someone living there. All tips will be appreciated. Incidentally, Craigslist is not working on my computer today. Blocked? Thanks in advance. |

Not really BBS is a really old term for online forums, the chinese still use the term but they just mean online forums as well 
I remember real BBSes which had phone numbers and you actually dialed into it with your modem! |

Yeah I remember dialing into a bunch of BBS's every night before the internet came around. Nowadays when I see BBS I think of shanghai barbershops. |

And then sent and received messages to people all over the world using FidoNet. Seemed so unbelievably high-tech at the time.

yeah, craigslist seems blocked,
geoexpat.com is a good one, you can almost find anything there, but it's not as frequently posted on as SHexpat |
