| Post subject: my blackberry (8100) wap problems |
having problems with my net on my blackberry 8100 i bought it off a friend,im from the uk and its on 02 everytime i try and look for something
it says 'there is insufficient network coverage to process your request
please try again later' what can i do ?? any ideas |

hi aaron, i managed to get the wap to work on my blackberry with china mobile (no blackberry sevice) I set it up: options/advanced options/tcp/APN='cmnet' no username, no password. not sure if you'll be able to get it to work with 02 though. |

afaik, as a crackberry user, China Mobile has a bb net service, but it comes at a rediculous cost, its cheaper to get an unlimited roaming data plan, back in the US, the unlimited data plan that can be used anywhere globally is $40USD/Month, its easy, fast and no hassles. I went to the China Mobile office in Pudong @ Lancun Lu, and they had a hard time trying to help me with the service, also its for corporate plans, unless you have a Co. with BES, your fresh outta luck here. |
