| Post subject: Local Summer Schools or Camps |
I am looking into "local" summer schools or summer camps for 5-6 year olds. I am already aware of lots of international (and expensive) summer programs including sports and language camps but wanted to know if expat kids can join local summer programs so they can learn more Chinese (and accelerate their speaking skills).
Anything like this exist? |

the school that my children attend has a summer program for 1.5 to 3. But I think they offer the program as a priority for their existing students or students that are also enrolled in the Fall Program. The school is Montessori School of Shanghai. You may want to look into it since their program is a bi-lingual program which may be something that you're looking for. |

Did some checking and found that there is this Children's Palace program run by the Child Welfare Institute. There seems to be a number of summer (and fall activities) which could be a good option. Thanks! |
