| Post subject: get rid of Attica spam |
anyone have any idea how to get rid of Attica spam? I get about 1 text a day from them, and it is getting quite annoying.
I've tried to go to the website but there's no place where I can deactivate myself. Writing emails and even talking to people working there didn't work.

Gossip can be quite detrimental to F & B outlets.. Not that I'm too bothered about Attica! |

I work in that industry, by word of mouth due to the extensive building works in that area and bad access, the business is suffering as a result. I have no idea of the timescale, or whether or not they plan to relocate elsewhere in the City.
Heard similar stories from various customers about Bar Rouge, which has ended up becoming a haven for Hookers and pretentious twats. But they are still turning a profit nether less. |

Hookers in Bar Rouge....I saw Bai Ling there once dancing admist a throng of men. She was wearing a belt and a tube top. How classy....
I like how the hookers there pull the "where's that person that was supposed to meet me?" look and stand there for hours with their phone in hand, trying to get business. |

Yes especially when I refuse them entry...they hang around the lifts on their phones or the other good line "My friends are in there" Me: well you can pay the cover charge like they did then.. |

If I go to Attica, I go despite of their text. I won't go because they reminded me what a fabulous night they're going to have by texting me.

Here's a tip. Whenever any club asks you to fill out some form and it asks for a number because they're giving you free ****...
PUT A FAKE NUMBER!!!
13800138000 is a good one. They never really say anything unless you leave it blank.
I too get spam, but it's only maybe once every month or two, and it's generally for some rock show, so I assume I voluntarily gave that one out, considering my fondness for live rock, and it hasn't been passed on to others for over a year.
that's a long sentence.  |

I didn't fill out a form! I met someone who works in the club (of which I have since then lost contact with) and then met someone else (who have since then stopped working for Attica).
I then randomly met another girl who worked in Attica too (I guess there's a lot of promoters) and she said just go online...but there was nowhere you could de-register yourself. |

Call Monique or Fox at Attica, and ask to be removed from the SMS list.
I'm 100% sure there is nothing on the website to remove yourself from the SMS list.
We didn't get asked for, *or* put anything like that on the website.

How do you know they are Bai Ling and how do you know the one hold their phone in hand are hookers? Whether sometimes they can be mixed? |

Bai Ling was one person and I know it was her because she looked like Bai Ling and danced and talked and acted like Bai Ling (saw a youtube video of her dancing to a midget once. hilarious!)
