Post subject: Cooking and enteratinment

I would have to say cooking items like measuring cups, pots, pans, etc. Unless you plan on using a wok all the time or a rice cooker then bring everything else, if you can find it it will be in high-end malls and they charge foreigner prices for it. Popcorn popper, X-Box (with voltage converter and yes the TV's here can switch between NTSC and PAL), favorite and not read books, selections here are scarce, shoes (I wear size 11.5 to 12 and it is really hard to find here), OTC meds for allergies and colds, lots and lots of hand sanitizer (uesed to sell at Watson's but can't find anymore), things to entertain the kids (games, books, some toys all because the quality here is lacking and safety is an after thought), and finally good quality tools (with metric sizes), tools here are very bad quality and you can't find more then just basic ones (if you want to bring power tools bring a good power converter that can handle the wattage of your equipment).

I came here with clothes, some nic-nacks, CD's, and DVD's and found I missed everything else as I thought I could get it here.
