Post subject: Fish for sale (pretty Hypostomus?)

Hi all,

three weeks ago I bought a new fish - one of these fish who likes to clean the glass of the fish tanks. Its about 15 cm and has some very pretty mosaic skin.
Unfortunately it seems like he does not like my other fishes.

Now I have to move him out. Do you have some space left in your tank or do you know anybody who can handle this big guy?

Give it time.. These guys love hiding under wood and in plants.

no Januza, misunderstanding: He is to shy to get on the picture but not to shy to attack my other fish Sad

So he has to leave the tank.

Anyone knows anybody who needs a windowcleaner in his tank?

These are great fish, they are normally peaceful and do not attack other fish unless they get harrassed by them. Is your tank big enough to give him sufficient space and are you feeding him speciality food for his type.

We had one of these for 3 years - sadly departed now, but in that time I never knew him to attack any of our other fish.

Can't you take him back to the shop if you don't want him any more? I had to do similar recently with a small shark and they were quite happy to take him back.
