You will see that on your new decoder you can watch your Dream Cinema / Ben Sports1 which has the Euro2008 but not on your pirate box.

All the pirate boxes will stop soon enough. Some delay in Philippinnes.

The much-feared Nagravision3 changeover on 1 June I think was a steaming pile of ****. My XSAT box works fine 70-80% of the time. In fact, I think it's up more than down, but hey, ya pays ya money and.....

"Legit" Dream dealer ? Pull your head in and get real with smartcard pricing. $6 USD per month is fine by me. Otherwise, I'm happy the way things are.

Some channels are not available on your xsat even now as they are on N3. It will all go to N3 only sooner ( the new systems are all N3 ) or later. It's just a question of time before they switch off the N1 systems.

Most people would prefer thir boxes to work 100% of the time. They are happy enough to pay for it at a reasonable cost.

Do you not understand the costs of satellite subcriptions. Most top packages in Asia cost US$70 - US$120 per month.

If you want to see who are the legit dealers go to the www.dream.com.ph website from Dream TV in the Philippines.

I am being told that I will not be able to get satellite. Our unit faces south but I guess we are somewhat blocked to the southeast. Any one have any experience just facing a dish south? Management is saying they will not allow the dish on the roof...not sure if that is their final say or if I can grease the wheels a bit. If I cannot get satellite, are there any other options for getting international TV??
Thanks

You can use professional streaming services or try streaming to yourself.

Streaming? With the internet speed here, would that work?
Any good references for streaming services?

The internet in China is fine for streaming. I stream to the Big Bamboos both the THAI Truevisions and the DSTV Multichoice Africa packages.

MPEG4 at 1mb upload on my side. They don't have any problems with the intenet streaming.

Check your roof and see if there are any Satellite dishes there already. If so, listen carefully when the management tells you why there are others up there. Keep in mind many managers just want "plausible denial" when it comes to installations of dishes and such.
