| Post subject: Power adaptors, convertors etc etc |
Hi all,
Im coming from Australia with all my computer and sound devices. ( I do audio production). What do l need to do as far as getting transformers or adaptors???
I see the Australian/China voltage/ power is very similar. Will l need to do anything?
Hope lm making sense.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If your apartment is anything like mine, you will just need to try several power points brfore you find one that will take the plug without force...so many power points, so many variables...helps to make life here exciting, but hopefully not shocking. |

So basically bring a whole stack of adaptors incase the points vary. But as far as voltage/power l can plug straight in?

PJ's are standard here in the summertime.
Best to not wear the designer brands when shopping though.... People may think you are stuck up. |

Mate, you must be a collingwood supporter, because you obviously can't read. I did say the plugs and voltage are the same. NO ADAPTERS necessary. It will fit. Same 3 pin configuration is standard here.
The bonus here is that all of the power boards you buy (extension leads) are multi pin. That is, ANY plug fits into them.
Voltage the same, so you will have no problems at all. |

Doesn't matter what size or shape of plug you have - you will likely find a hole here that you can fit it into as long as you are wired for 2 20s. |
