saw this "mother" sh1t tonight on ben sports. An utter embarrassment. I'd be ashamed working for him with that crap going on. It's aimed directly at the foreigners, as it seems to be in a language other than chinese (English). What a piece of work. |

There was a short piece entitled "Mein fuhrer" on cable TV in Germany during the mid 1930's
Its similar in many ways to this "mother" piece. Will see if i can dig it up on youtube.
A lot of my old friends in the SS and Gestapo seemed to particularly like it, probably for the same reasons that some people here do |

Well I guess you will be off to Singapore to reform their educational system. Ben Liu is a IPR lawyer from Singapore. BUt he also graduated from university in Japan.
I guess he was just writing in a way that suits him for the Chinese who will read the message.

Well if you had the original new Dream TV decoder you would be wacthing Ben Sports 1, 3, 4,5, 6.
I guess you box doesn't have enough sunshine in it. Otherwise you would have noticed the sports channels are there. 
Or perhaps you have a pirate box that doesn't have the access that legitimate boxes have? oops  |

I now get your point and clearly see his geniosity. He was writing in Chinglish so his Chinese speaking customers could understand.
I've got a legit box, and see Ben1, but not all those others unless they're the late night crap on the Philippine channels...a scintillating soccer match between Yemen and Uganda? Care to put on some real sports...starting this September with the start of the NFL season, followed by the NHL? I may find a way to forgive him erring in every single line of his Mother load. |

If you want to deliver a message to the Chinese....write it in Chinese perhaps?
If you want to deliver a message to the foreigners, and you are the CEO of a bigtime business (sic)....spend 2 bucks and get it properly translated?

Dream TV has been showing the NFL on Solar Sports and Ben Sports will carry some games. However we have staff who decide which channels to use for broadcasting live sports. ESPN STAR Solar Sports and Ben Sports 1 will give you a reasonable amount of sports. With Ben Sports1 added in this eyar you have extra sports on this as well.
The Stanley Cup Finals were on Ben Sports as well. Ice Hockey has dwindling viewing numbers even in Canada and the USA but yes some games will be shown.
Ben Sports 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, will not remain as part of Dream TV. Yes some of the part time ones are in the wee hours of the morning but then so is the NFL and Ice Hockey.
Only Ben Sports 1. Ben Sprts 2 is not currently shown.
Ben Sports will soon go to four 24 hour broadcast channels followed by 4 other part time channels plus the ESPN STAR from Dream TV plus the AFL and Rugby on as well. Soem other changes coming which will give you more live sports from 12pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Oh yeah, as I am really bored with the sports content only I suggested we show adult content on Ben Sports 1 instead of replaying games already seen. Stay tuned on that.... and prepare your decoders with the parental black passwords so your kids dont see it. |

A) I have nothing to say.
B) If I did, it would be a literate message in the correct language for my target audience. Proofed and translated if need be to insure it was articulate and accurate.
Content aside, not a bunch of illiterate ramblings in poorly worded english that does nothing to establish the creditability of your organization.
If your CEO (and by association yourself), truly want to project the image of being a "real" business (which from your frequent posts claiming such I believe is your desire), you would be wise to coach him (if you are capable) in proper business correspondence and messaging.

He's has his own eccentricity lets say. We all do.
In the next 12 months you will where we end up.
Q? When you bought in Manila did you get the Homecast box or the crystal box? PS Did you get the new green card? I assume you did.
PS without Ben's investment into Dream TV they woud have stopped broadcasting already.
Now that would have been a nightmare scenario for all the expats in Aisa who watch Dream TV and Ben Sports.
Calling the CEO stupid you can, but I doubt he is. He has his own visions for his product and he has a specific market he wants to target to, You will understand that when the horse racing and greyhound racing starts being broadcast.
Web TV will also be a major content provider for many services too. |
