haha. I think you should get all the patrons dressed as Redcoats, and storm that building directly opposite.
I would say the "security guards" (who couldn't guard the head on a cappucino) would absolutely sh1t themselves and run for the hills. |

I take it British Bulldog isn't "British" anymore? Or they're just celebrating getting rid of all the crazy people in England 2-300 years ago? |

It HAS to be British in some way, shape, or form! No Yankee would dare to spell "honor" as "honour"! (And before I get slammed somehow for being non-politically correct, I'm a Yank who married a Brit...). |

Firstly well done on an excellent choice of husband. I should point out though that it's not just in England where we spell "honour" with a "u" in it! I've only been there a few times, but it was nice to have a pretty authentic British style Christmas dinner there last December, so I'm hoping they're keeping their Britishness! |

Cool. I'm wondering if the French, who supplied weapons to Washington in 1776 and who helped rout the British in Yorktown, and the Germans (Prussians actually) who trained the army fighting with French weapons are invited?
Oh wait, we are talking about Amerika, the country that came with with the "Freedom Fries" crap without realizing it wouldn't be free itself if it wasn't for the French.
Just thought about stirring up shiat and causing controversy here.
Carry on with your gluton pagan rituals, plebes.
PS: and good luck to the Bulldog, I hope the old owner, a tight cnt, is gone... |

Now that brings me to a question I was discussing with my British & Irish friends a couple of nights ago over a cold one at the Blue Frog ................ Fish & Chips.........is there anywhere in Shanghai where we can get authentic tasting fish & chips, I know there will be no "Cod", and the Spuds are in 2's in a nice cling film wrapper at the supermarket, so a frier full of Chips would be an expensive option, but we were all craving Fish & Chips with salt & Vinegar with some batter bits on the side! ........... and a Savaloy Sausage.

If your chef doesn't know, then he shouldn't be a chef.
Fish & Chips. Hmmm.. O'Malleys are quite good, as are Sashas. For price, the Eager Beaver has the best value in town. MASSIVE piece of fish, and great crinkle cut chips.
British Bulldog used to be good when they first opened, but that went downhill bigtime. Hopefully the new owner puts a chef in that knows how to cook without lashing of salmanella. |
