Post subject: Flights inside China ..Price check

Hello everyone.

Although I have lived in China many years I have been away the last 6 months.

I must now submit a budget for an up coming project and need to know what effect the recent surge in oil prices has had on internal flight prices.

Can any one give me a ballpark figure on the price of an airline ticket
between SH&BJ

Many thanks

Check elong.com or ctrip.com and see that they say. I've found that the travel agents can rarely beat those prices on domestic flights.

Prices are vary depend on the airlines but recently I just purchased ticket Shanghai-Beijing-Shanghai for RMB 1650 include tax ( 2 x RMB 150 ) by Hainan Airlines. 60% discount on departure and 30% on return flight if i am not wrong.

They have the time table and different discounts on different time so you have freedom to choose airlines up to your budget.

I recently flew from BJ to SH for 490RMB incl tax + fuel surcharge.

Booked the evening before the morning flight on China Eastern

If izzy272 has to submit a budget, i suppose you won't submit it on the basis of discounted tickets. As kpmautner said...check ctrip and take the full fare rate...at least for budgeting.
