Post subject: Dream TV and Australian Network

Ok I have not got involved so far in the Dream TV discussions and like most had a pirate system up to earlier this year. Now when the new encryption system was announced I did the right thing contacted one of the Dream authorised shanghai dealers (from their website) and paid for the official system and full year subscription. All went fine until when the new encryption was launched on Australian Network and surprise surprise no video or sound on that channel. So I duely contacted the supplier to ask when they would provide me the correct card and was advised that "the Dream management has not advised them when they will make them available" This obviously was responded to with a more stern email requesting who I should talk to at Dream management in the Phillipines and whether there would be a refund to which I have yet to have a reply. So the official systems being supplied in China seemingly still do not work with the new encryption anyway.
So now I have the guys coming around this afternoon to watch the Kiwis beat the South Africans and all we will have is a blank screen. Anyone know where I can pick up Tidley winks in Shangahi to keep them busy so they wont notice! Needless to say I am not happy and will be taking this further although not sure what avenues are available in China. My advice ...wait and see what happens and dont get stung like me.

OK my card is purple and grey it has Dream Access Card on it and in the bottom left hand corner has Dream Broadcasting System. Thaeback indicates it is the property of Philippine Multi-media System Inc and it does not look as if it has been modified.
I purchased the system and subscription from a Shanghai Dealer that was listed at the time on the Phillipines Dream website and now no longer features. Puting in a search for dealers in Shanghai now comes up with zero results. I am happy to pay for the service but the Company named Dream Satellite TV, Shanghai Service centre with internet address dreamsatelitte.com needs to come clean as to what it is actualy selling. Appreciate your helpful explanation. The box supplied was a homecast box
