We just had sat tv installed and I honestly have no idea how the technology works except that we have a dish, but it all has to be streamed?
Well, the problem is that the picture freezes up on the tv all the time...is this an internet speed connection issue or just bad sat tv service.
The box is a Dream 500.
Please give me some suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks |

Cheap Dreambox clones are notorious for locking up. Bad firmware and bad server connections.
The signals comes from your dish but the authorization from the server is setup though your DM network settings. You need to learn how to use your box. You have about 80 hours of reading how to get the best out of your box. As for freezing... thats just a bad server from your installer. |
