Two-day Tantou Island Summer Trip
– Camping on the beach and enjoy the seafood BBQ

Let’s go to the seashore to camp on the beach, enjoy the sunshine and seafood in Tantou Island, Zhejiang Province. Only 500rmb and we will have a whole weekend relax there, play beach volleyball, swimming and have fun in the sea, have group games and campfire evening party, in the night we will sleep in the camp on the beach. Check the following for detailed info.

Destination Tantou Island, Zhejiang Province (浙江檀头岛)
Date 22th Aug. – 24th Aug. 2008, (2 night 2 days)
Number of Travelers Around 30 people of many different nationalities
Cost RMB 500 p/p (Includes transportation of bus and boat, meals in two days and translation fee)

Trip Itinerary
22nd Aug.
9:30pm Gathering at People Square
10pm Take bus and leave Shanghai to travel to Tantou Island
23rd Aug.
6.00am Take boat to the Tantou Island
7:40am Get on the island
7:40am – 9am Camping on the beach, change the clothes and swimming or have fun on the beach
12pm Have seafood for lunch
1pm – 3pm Have fun or take a nap on the beach
3pm – 6pm Group game for outward development
6pm – 8pm Dinner time for seafood again
8pm – 10pm Campfire evening party and enjoy the fireworks
11pm – next morning Sleeping in the hostel or in the camp
24th Aug.
9am Have breakfast
12pm Get Xiangshan City and having Lunch
1pm – 6pm Take bus and go back to Shanghai (People Square)

The Following will be provided by the organizer:
Food Cookies, Bread, Ketchup, Snacks, Soft drinks, Water, beer and alcohol
Other Equipment Wet and dry tissues, Fireworks, volleyball, First Aid box, garbage plastic bag

You Should Bring:
Clothes Swimming clothes and related stuff, toiletries, towel
Accessories Tent, moisture proof mat and sleeping bag ( renting is available on the island if you don’t have, or you can sleep in the hostel of the locals), Sunglasses, Sunscreen, hat, MP3, Book (there is no internet available)

Trip Cost
500rmb per person*: This includes the following:
• Transport(bus and boat) from and to Shanghai
• Four meals in two days
• snack food, fireworks, alcohol, travel guide and translation fee
*The cost above does not include invoice, insurance, personal expense as well other unexpected expense.
*The other fee taken place in the trip will be split by the members.

A meeting before the trip is needed on 19th Aug. Tuesday evening at Zhongshan Park for collecting the deposit of 200rmb and take some notice from the team leader.
