| Post subject: New Zealand Wine Tasting |
Jared Robbie admittedly is biased in his approach, being bred and raised in New Zealand, but he would like to honestly dissect some of the wines from the far end of the world for us to understand.
We will get to sample two Whites and four Reds, all matched with a few bites to give us an idea about the possibilities. Discover that this country has more to offer than the White Sauvignons!
Tasting fee: 88 RMB/person
Date: August 7, 2008

Not to discount the event or expert noted in the AD above, but I personally like the guidance provided by local Kiwi returnee Simon Zhou, at Ruby Red as he specializes in Kiwi and Aussie wines. Furthermore, his expertise comes free when one shops his business, Ruby Red Cellars, one that has supported the ShanghaiExpat community for years. But that's just me. |

And of course after looking into thi sevent, i realise that this event IS in fact is being promoted by Simon at Ruby Red so...guess i will have to head down and try some wines eh?  |
