Post subject: Visa Run Itinerary

Anybody have the perfect 24 hour visa run itinerary. Preferably HK, Macao, or Japan? Main objective besides exiting and entering China would be to relax, eat some good food and get re-civilized.

are you sure you can get an L visa extension now? From all this and last month's 'visa' threads I had the impression there were no L renewals until September. I could be wrong, but I know it's worth checking into.

Don't need an extension. . . just need to reset the visa every 60 days. I'm on a multiple entry 60day good for 6 months

Okay so for posterities’ sake I’ll post my trip.

Flew to Shenzhen. . cheap flight (But, for the 100 extra bucks probably better to fly direct to HK/Macau) took an easy shuttle bus to the ferry to Macau. 2hr boat trip.

At Macau I jumped on the free shuttle bus to my hotel. I would recommend the Sands, Venetian, or Lisboa (free mini bar). That night did the casino thing, saw a dog race, watched the golden tree at the Wynn, the best was hanging out at the sands bar listening to some shitty bands and drinking 30rmb you call its. Ate at the sands buffet. . highly recommended.

The next day did the historical sightseeing. Saw some churches, cemeteries, parks, went to Macau museum, and some temples. Its quite nice to walk to the sights since the are all pretty close together but you can take a bus or taxi if need be. Had a great Macau style lunch. Then hopped on the ferry and back to China.

All in all a nice visa run trip.
