Post subject: How to get to Fiji
Does anyone know how to get to Fiji on the cheap (other than swimming...), all the flights I have found connect through Sydney and are $5000. We are looking to go surfing during the 1st week of October

Have you tried the asian airlines? Sing, Cathay, Thai, MAS, etc? Obviously you'll have to layover but Australia is a bit far.
