Esy Cafe, a newly open cafe at Tai Kang Lu Lane 210, is completely non-smoking. |

Aren't 70% of the restaurants in Shanghai nowadays have the smoking/non-smoking sections? Went to this cantonese cuisine in Infinity mall on Huai Hai lu and also Chamate 一茶一坐 in Xin Tian Di, they both got non-smoking section. |

RU Cafe on Xinzha Lu in Jing'an area is completely non-smoking (between Xikang Lu and Changde Lu, opposite One Park Ave). The place has a healthy offering of food and drinks (fresh juices & smoothies), as well as fresh bread from their onsite bakery. Great place to grab a bite for fair price. |

hmmm, maybe 70% of the places you go. most restaurants, do not, and some, even if they DO have demarkations, are reluctant to enforce it. 
But it is improving.  |

As an occasional visitr to Shanghai - about 4 times a year - I can recommend The Secret Garden at 333 Changle Lu. Not only does it have a smoke free section, the ambience is lovely, the service is first rate, the food is wonderful, and the value is excellent.
