I am a Shanghai newbie (2 weeks) and just found out this forum. Too bad I missed the Sat gathering yesterday but for sure I will join next one. I have never been to Coffee bean and tea leaf inside Cloud Nine Mall. Should I just follow the English noise and laughter? |

^ Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at teh Cloud Nine Mall is across the exit from Citibank. The expat meeting is usually marked with a stand-up banner welcoming people to the Saturday Coffee Meeting, and is held inside the glass room towards the back of the place. Usually its the "smoking room" but for our event, we deem it non-smoking for the duration of the event.
As an added bonus this coming saturday from 1030-12, DirectWay representatives will attend and bring out a display of Water Filter solutions for the home. Products will include the Atlantis Drinking Water Purifier, the ShowerBaby chlorine-removing showerhead, and several others so pop on by to check it out. |

I have no idea... we have a good core group that comes weekly, all expats. that MAY be what SW is referring to as we really are an EXPAT-based group which allows new expats and old to share experiences and and such.
Tomorrow, Directway will bring out their Atlantis Drinking Water filter display (a working model) to allow anyone interested in getting a drinking water filter, or a chlorine filter, a chance to see the products first hand. From 1030-12 noon, they will be there answering questions.
And yes the coffee meeting will go on as always. See you all there. |

the timing of the event makes it self selective. Only those tat make an effort are rewarded with the event I guess...haha.
Anyhow, there is a Sunday one that is later if it fits one's scheduel better, but the saturday group likes the timing as it works for us.
We still meet weekly so come on out! New faces welcome as always! |
