Post subject: Cranky Franky seeks new home

Being born in a Shanghai fruit shop may not be the best start for a kitten. But one day I was given to some laowai who combed and washed me (I love jumping in the bath, shower or toilet), cleaned up my runny nose, fed me Whiskas and took me to a vet for vaccinations against rabies, flu, worms and fleas and ultimately, the unkindest cut of all.

Life's good. I play with my tennis balls and toy rabbit, sleep on (and sometimes in) the bed, run amok all over the furniture, and jump on command.

But now, due to unforeseen circumstances that led to the early termination of my owner's contract, I need a new home by the end of November.

I'm a handsome male cat, 16 months old, desexed, healthy, mischievous, and with plenty more to offer. I'm affectionate when it suits me, mostly around mealtimes, and have a nice booming purr. I love playing games and climbing bookshelves, and have been know to sit on a lap for cuddles for up to 15 minutes at a time, before having a biting attack.

Yes, I'm not purrfect - who doesn't love biting the hand that feeds you? It's been said I go a bit mad on a full moon, and I love to run yowling around the house without touching the floors.

Anyway, I need someone new to love before the end of November - otherwise they tell me it's a one-way trip to the vet, and I don't know what that means.

Beautiful cat and sounds like a bit of character! Unfortunately I might be off home in November too otherwise I would have taken him in. Best of luck in finding him a new home.
