Also another thread about this. Bamboo is the big main event. Usually 250 or so Bronzed Anzacs there. O'Malleys would also be showing it. Again, i'm stuck (not a bad thing) in Bordeaux this weekend. Can't find any friggin bar to show it. |

Mat. The only thing I can find is a message from another Aussie expat that says if you go to www.myp2p.eu and download TVAnts or TVU you can watch it on your computer (PC only).
Hmmm......could be tempted by the 250 bronzed Anzacs though:-)

And if you really want, I'll be "rooting" for the Hawks amongst 250 Bronzed Anzacs! The mind boggles 
By the way, in our part of the world, "rooting" has a totally different meaning. Ask any Aussie.

Adrienne, where are you going to find 250 Bronzed Anzacs in Shanghai  You might get 17 Aussies with firm muscles, the rest of us would probably nurse warmish drinks.
Seriously though, an AFL Grand Final is not for the Squeamish. Absolute team fury, with incredible punch-ups and the referee unable to separate the violent pack with his whistle.
Overseas guests in Shanghai: Australian Rules Football is actually a hell-game. No helmets, no padding, sheer testosterone, Big Muscles, running fast and passing the ball to your mates.
Kicking a football 70 metres between the goal posts to get a goal, whilst being subsequently tackled by your opponents. Then you are on the ground.
Strange thing is, they go to the pub later and are best of mates (make good friends), even as opposition teams, despite bandages and limping.
