McCaine & MaCaine probably aren't options, but it's possible McCain is. |

AJJ, you are a friggin nut. I thought you were like Jack Nicholson in Cuckoo's Nest and you'd been befriended by a large Indian dude, and were fighting an evil nurse.
I'm going to go back and listen to See Emily Play 6 times, backwards. |

I would like to see McCain to be elected as the next US president.
A stupid US president like McCain is of great importance to countries around the world. Bush did a great job in this aspect and I do hope McCain could be elected and carry on the good work of Bush. |

I agree it's all a sham. So given that, we need a President who's at least intelligent and who manipulates his cabinet and advisers, not the other way around as in George W's case. Such a President maybe could at least mitigate the damage although not stop it. We all know the Illuminati or the One World Gov't has had its agenda in place for some time now and will be unstoppable in the long run. |

Label me crazy conspiracy theorist all ya want. But I believe Obama is just another puppet.
Actually, not sure I really believe that anymore. I don't know what to believe these days. The crap my friends believe are too damn crazy.
Yeah I give you that, Obama is better than MC-Cain in every possible combination and then some. |

I've heard all the major candidates are funded by elements of the Illuminati (I'll call them that for lack of a better term). I still think Obama will be more individualistic minded than McCain, even though that is supposedly McCain's calling card. I also think Obama will be more creative and energetic in actually getting stuff done. McCain is so old he'll probably sleep more than George W., who is said to go to bed every night at 9 PM. I think Obama, like Bill Clinton, will be a workaholic, and that's all I'm really asking for. In the long run, the world will be screwed regardless of any one person. |

You need to think in terms of the near future....
McCaine is 72 (can't help it) and will go into vapor lock after 17 months in office and then it's president palin.
Obama is Black (can't help it) and will be targeted by a red-neck, white-trash, sheet wearing, NASCAR dippin, truck drivin, trailer park good-ol-boy and then it is president Biden.
Vote the Person not the Party! |

Not really on topic, but a few little observations about the whole thinggy-poo. It has become a total freakin' circus and I guess I'm addicted to taking it all in.
A couple things that strike me about this election are how blatantly both campaigns are willing to "bend" the truth or outright lie.
Palin's latest about being cleared of any unethical behavior while the report (Trooper Gate) clearly states that she behaved unethically shocks me. I can totally understand that she may not agree with the findings and I believe that she is welcomed to challenge them, or say that the committee is biased, or whatever. But, to look straight into the camera and claim that the report (which is available to read everywhere) says something other than what it does, is really really nervy. To do that, she has to assume, that her peeps will accept what she says with out question and won’t bother to read the report themselves. The whole thing reminds me of Marion Barry the olde crack smokin’ mayor of Washington DC. Just shocking.
Also, how can Obama be a "Muslim terrorist" AND a member of the Jeremiah Wright congregation? |

The last hope of the Republican campaign is to instill a racially-based sort of fear, and that's what they're doing. After the last debate, CNN went into the studio to get feedback from a panel of around 12 experts. I liked when David Gergen hesitated but finally mentioned race (the others were too afraid, I think) and cited a Stanford study that indicates as much as 6% of the ??undecided??? voters may end up voting for McCain just to prevent a black president. Obama's lead right now is estimated at 6 to 8 percent. He'll need to get that a little higher with the 3rd and final debate. I think it will be more than the undecided trying to prevent a black president. I think there will be a ton of rural whites (that's CNN"S euphemism for white racists) who usually never vote and are unaccounted for by the current polls who will end up voting to prevent a black president. This is what actually happened in the Democratic race with Hillary in both Texas and Ohio.
It's going to be a very interesting election. |

so the summary is?
-republican = bad
-obama = good because he's not republican
-the issues don't deserve discussion
-therefore, democracy is #1! the american voters have spoken! |

Long as I remember The rain been comin' down.
Clouds of myst'ry pourin' Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Tryin' to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.
I went down Virginia, Seekin' shelter from the storm.
Caught up in the fable, I watched the tower grow.
Five year plans and new deals, Wrapped in golden chains.
And I wonder, Still I wonder Who'll stop the rain.
Heard the singers playin', How we cheered for more.
The crowd had rushed together, Tryin' to keep warm.
Still the rain kept pourin', Fallin' on my ears.
And I wonder, Still I wonder Who'll stop the rain
