Post subject: Can someone suggest restaurant in Pudong?

Being a Puxi girl my knowledge of good restaurants on the other side of the river is sadly limited. I've got a good friend staying tonight in Pudong and I'd like to take him to a special place with a nice view and good food.

I know all the hotel's restaurants like Shangha-ri-la, Grand Hyatt etc. but was looking for something different.

Any Pudongers/Pudongees/Pudongites (not sure what you guys are called) able to recomend anywhere? Mid range budget please.

Thanks heaps!

Adrienne

I am a Puxi girl too, but have been to this restaurant twice and the view is amazing, right on the river, the food is alright and service is great.

It is called Bin Jiang One -- you can google or guanxi for the address, it is like a 2 minute walk form the Citi Group Building.

It's kind of expensive, but well worth it.

Wow, Freedelia thanks. Just had a look at the pics and it looks really lovely. Am sure he'll like it. What kind of food do they have and the rough prices?

Hmm, the food i think is only western, nice fancy dishes (small portions too, haha) I only went for lunch and their lunch sets are i think 150 to 200 for 2 to 3 courses. Really don't know too much, as I only went there twice, like i said, and the last time was a few good months ago. Don't even think i looked at their dinner menu. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If you like Spanish food, there is a nice Spanish restaurant next to the River called "La verbena". Great view, and the paellas are nice..

I usually go for a paella for 2, with drinks, it would cost around 400-500 for 2 persons.
