Post subject: [sponsor] Are you a Toys R Us kid? Ask Geoffrey!

Hi!

I am Geoffrey, the Toys “R” Us toy expert and mascot. My favorite place is Toys “R” Us!
Many of the friends here have known me from elsewhere in the world, and now you can meet me in China too! From now on, on this website, you will be able to discuss toys with me and with other friends, and if you have questions about Toys R Us, I will try to answer them, and some of you may be able to help too!

By the end of 2008, there are 14 Toys "R" Us stores in Mainland China-- in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Wuxi,
Suzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen and Fuzhou. In Shanghai, you can now visit our store at Super Brand Mall, Cloud Nine Store and Daning the Life Hub. (Click on http://www.toysrus.com.cn/inside/en-Store_Location.php?lang=en) Before the end of this year, we will have three more stores in Shanghai--at 353, Xijiao Bailian, and Grand Gateway

Meanwhile, I remind you that the Babies R Us fall collection is going on until November 3rd, and the fantastic Ultimate Halloween will last until then as well.

Talk to you soon and see you soon at our stores!![sponsor

^Yes, REAL expensive! Very Happy

A "real" bouncy ball in filled with 100% genuine air...
while a "fake" bouncy ball is completely empty. Crying or Very sad

HAHAHA! Love it. I actually meant stuff like Hot Wheels and such which admittedly are probably more expensive in bigger stores, but if you've shopped at NiHong and some smaller local stores for toys, you'd know what i meant.

Post subject: Low Price guarantee

Please do not worry. We have low price guarantee.

Every item you buy at Toys"R"Us comes with the low price guarantee. If you find the same being sold elsewhere at a lower price, just bring us your Toys"R"Us original receipt within 7 days and we will gladly refund the difference.

BTW, the price in department stores are higher than ours in most cases.

Does your best price guarantee apply when I buy a product in Toys R Us Shanghai, only to find I could get it cheaper in the UK at Toys R Us! I paid almost double.

How can this be, when the thing is made in China to begin with?

And if you say it is made here, shipped overseas, then shipped back - what does that say about your store's "carbon footprint"?

Next time, I'm shopping somewhere else. Shame on you guys.

Dear Jf:

Thanks for your note. Each market has its own lowest price guarantee. If you find the exact same item in Mainland China at a published lower price, after you buy this item from our store, we will refund you the difference. We assure you that we are selling these toys in China at the lowest price possible for China and in accordance with market standards and practices. I hope you continue to be one of our customers.

Hmmm same question - I have ended up buying things for my kids in your HK stores as a number of them are much cheaper than in Shanghai - I know there is a tax difference but some of the differences are.... hmmm .... and knowing HK rentals and salaries being much more expensive! Though I will give it to you that some of the goods are cheaper in Shanghai than HK at least.

On a second note - in HK you are selling the Thomas the Tank engine wooden trains - in Shanghai it seems only the "Take Along" range - a great pity!

Hi Geoffrey - are you the same Geoffrey from Rainbow? What have you done with Rod, Jane and Feddy, and Bungle, Zippy and George? And what do you want to do with kids? Thank you.
