"US-made Optima dog food in China may have killed my dog"
Dec 25 08
In what’s poised to be the absolute worst Christmas ever, there is an excellent chance my dog - my awesome, beautiful, wonderful, fantastic dog - is going to die.
After posting the other day about the possibility of her having come into contact with aflatoxin contaminated Optima dog food, a visit to the vet yesterday confirmed it. Her liver is shutting down."

Ryan, a Canadian mate in Suzhou doesn't fart into balloons for a novelty effect.
We were penciled in for an excellent Christmas dinner but his *beloved* dog came down with liver failure and has a 20% survival rate.
Shortly, the stuff EX-US was warehoused in Guangzhou @ 32 degrees during the startling games.
Bacteria had an excellent chance to leap over the bar, and did so. All the dog food was contaminated.
I'm not a dog man myself, but you should be informed.
Not if you have a dog.
Hundreds of RMB.

Zak, your writing ... you need some R&R in a civilized part of the world. |

@ LDL "...you need some R&R in a civilized part of the world."...
Damn. I got back from central Tasmania (AUS) in May this year after 2 months in a "civilised" part of the world.
Nice to live in a place (for a short time) without constant noise and zero pollution, breathable air. Not to mention exceptionally rigorous food safety regulations.
Thanks Newuser
If we fail the expat community to each other on this site - to report serious and proven potentially fatal irregularities in "American" dry food just for their dogs, then what else will we hide from each other ?
I know it's "just a dog" but some people value their dogs.
Need more "deep throats", without dickies.
Cheers,
Z. |

Zak, you are a fruit loop. Seriously, read back what you write. If it makes sense to you, PM Nutalie, as you should hook up. |
