This must be a sign of:
1.The reduced numbers of expats in Shanghai.
2.The stricter controls on Visa's.
Theses two added together has reduced the number of Ėnglish Teachers" in Shanghai, about time too.
Maybe the Expat Pubs will have to reduce the price of their Beer if the number of expats has fallen so much!!! |

Yes, I hope the top end managers get sent home so I can get their jobs, if I can get half their salary that's still 10 times more than what I'm on. I've already seen what they do, flail their arms around when things are behind and pat people on the shoulder when things are going well for a 6 figure RMB monthly salary. Doesn't take that much talent, I took drama lessons in my teens.
If I can grab a manager position, I'd charge cheaper than their family allowance, plus ayi, plus company car, plus some stupid amounts of benefits so they're more "comfortable" here.
Easy!!! gimme that role for a high end 5 figure RMB monthly salary  |

Ah, being an English teacher in any school in China, even in the whole Eastern Asian area, is definitely the first option for those incompetent expats who are incapable to find a decent job back home. |

You know, in my point of view, most of the expats who are tending to be an English teacher in China are just taking advantage of being a native speaker, which is obviously not based on their extra endeavor and effort, because they are completely incompetent. |

Have you met many English teachers in China? Many many are outcasts from their home country. Come here and drink and drug their troubles away and sleep with the local girls... Well nothing wrong with sleeping with the locals... |
