Post subject: Large size copy or scanning

I am looking for place where they are able to do large size copy or scanning 100x50 cm color photo.

I have a hard copy of the photo but not in digital format. Tried all around the town (small printing shops) nobody can do it because of the size. Tried Print Center at Pudian lu 394 they said that their machine is not functioning. Any suggestions appreciated.

What you need is a large format scanner/copier/printer required for Engineering drawings.
There are a few places in Shanghai that offer this service now, so do an online search.
Suggest you give these people a shot:

I don't know if they can do color or not.

There are several FedEx Kinkos throughout town, you can find the list when you google the name. One behind Westgate Mall on Nanjing Lu as well, one on near Huai Hai Lu, I think HK could be New World Tower

This is the result:

FedEx Kinko (behind Westgate Mall on Nanjing Lu) can offer scan for A3 size at most or they can scan few times large image (part by part) and they could stich it (by photo editing) for 50 RMB. Smile

I didn't ask about printing cost but this is easier part becouse many shops can do large prints once you have digital format of the file.

Did you consider to make a good quality digital photo instead of a scan ?

I tried, having 2 good cameras but it never comes out perfect. (I am not very good photographer, guess I just dont know how to do it well.) There is always reflection or blurred image.

tripod,
indirect lighting,
natural light outside,
in the afternoon,

if necessary make several separate photos and use a program to join them together.
