OP: Sorry babe, but good luck finding men like that here in Shanghai. Honestly, you would have better luck in New Haven. I come from a similar background (Asian/grew up abroad etc) and let me tell you, eligible ASIAN men here are soooo few and far between!
Most of them here are either dimwits like fwerff. You know the type, loud as a motorbike, but wouldn't even bust a grape in a fruit fight. Also known as LBHs (losers back home). The smarter, more eligible types usually have their spouses and kids in tow, which basically makes my description of them as "eligible" as a moot point. If you are studying Chinese here, from my experience there will be plenty of ABCs at whichever uni you are at (esp Fudan).
Most of my girlfriends from similar backgrounds as ours tend to just date non-Asians (I know right, the travesty  ) or lower their standards. Good luck babe! |

I am almost a perfect eligible guy. If only I can get a decent job.
Oh and I don't live on a Visa. I can stay here as long as I want. And no I'm not a citizen here.
I don't live in Shanghai anymore. But if you give me a good reason I might actually take a plane ride to Shanghai to just see ya  . Or you can come to Shenzhen, we have a much better fake market than that QIPU Lu in Shanghai. |

But Shanghai has more excellent bars and clubs which rarely can be found in Shenzhen. And of course more alcohol and jokes.

if you're going to study then it's easy, just go to play table tennis or something at your campus, and ask if any guys would go clubbing with you. They can probably take you to clubs where most asian guys hangout.
