| Post subject: Irish Guy visiting Soon - Where best to hang out for fun |
I'm a 32 year old Irish guy visiting Shanghai in a few weeks time - just want to get a feel for the best places to hang out for a few beers and little fun. I'm staying at the Hilton so anywhere around there is what I'd be looking for (without getting ripped off) or I'm prepared to travel if needs be. Curious to know if Shanghai is also like HK ?  |

If your Mandarin close to zero, I suggest you better go to places like Xintiandi or Taikang lu, as for beer, there's Irish and English pubs in Xuhui area, try to google "O'Malleys", "Englush Bulldog", "Oscar's". Also there's an Irish pub on Taojiang lu, can't remember the name tho. |

Gosh, I've problem with my memory)) It's not even Taojiang lu, it is Dongping lu, and pub is "Blarney stone". Very close to Sasha's and Zapatas and other spots as well. |
