The East China Normal University, which is located in Zhongshan xi lu, is not very conveninet to get to by all means. Taxi from downtown may take RMB 20 to 30. The most efficient way to get here is by subway line 2, get off at zhongshan park station and then a taxi at RMB 10 will take u there. Public bus is not suggested although there must be some lines available.

U can take bus no. 94 and get off at Chang feng Park stop which is close to the back gate of the school. The bus stop close to your residence is just opposite Hilton Hotel. It is a bit slow about 30-45 minutes. But it is the most economical way. Sometimes during the rush hour, taxi might be slower than buses as the latter can use the bus lane.
