"You mentioned that English Teachers are in a very big demand and that the job can pay between $15/20. Are you referring to USD? If that is the case, the teachers in Shanghai make just as much as the teachers in the states, if not more in some cases. Do you have any agencies you could recommend so that I can find out more about teaching opportunities in Shanghai? Thanks

I should have probably included this in with my first question about sites pertaining to English Teacher and further information. I should have also asked if you know of other popular sites that are Shanghai specific in terms of job availability. Thanks again. "

Demand varies with the season and with people coming and going.
$15 to 20 USD per hour is possible. Must have a degree and TESL cert would be a really good idea. Experience is plus. This is for classroom time. Usually does include travel time or company meetings. This kind of pay is usually only available at private schools that offer services to large businesses teacing staff. State schools might give 4000 RMB a month plus a room.

Try Dave ESL site. There are not too many agencies for teachers. Really you have to be here to find the best jobs and you do that by go to the schools and networking.
