As a newbie to these boards I am only beginning to understand some of the personalities on this forum. From the above I can deduce that you are a comedian. Am I wrong?
Meanwhile, I recommend the pepperoni pizza from Una's. Nice. As for the rest of their menu ... mamahuhu |

haha... its just a form of nationalism. Interestingly, even in Italy the Southerners are angry that Pizza is not regarded a Southern Italian invention (Napoli) |

Hey AAA - There is a CPK in Shanghai, at the Shanghai Center. Ate there for almost 2 weeks straight when I got here (mostly their garlic chicken fettucini).
Pizza Hut was very disappointing.
This thread made me very hungry. |

In Shanghai I've had DaMarco's pizza (Is the grand gateway location closed?), New York style pizza, and papa johns.
DaMarco's seems like better quality but NYSP was more satisfying and tastier. I thought it was a pretty damn good slice. Papa johns...I'd eat it, but I would never go out of my way to get it. |

Bloody hell!... I just got two slices of "Pizza" from New York Style Pizza in Taikang Lu.
It was the most oily, cardboardy disgusting piece of rubbish i have ever had. The bag, by the time i took the 2 minute walk back to the office, was just drenched in oil.
What the frigging hell are they adding to this to make it so oily. Is that how this New york style rubbish is supposed to taste? |

drenched in oil...yes, its supposed to be like that. Fold your slice like a funnel and drain out the oil are the first two steps to eating it. |

^ NOT. Learned my NYC Pizza appreciation in Yonkers.
Oil on the pizza...yes
Draining oil out like you are changing the 10-40W in the crankcase of the famlily sled?
Not in a good NYC Style Pizza. |

Sorry pal, but I think that might have been a bagel you were eating.
Good bang for the buck pizza? Next door to the Ambassy(sic) Club on Huaihai. Forget the name, but a nice little sandwich/coffee place. Decent thin crust pie for 30 RMB. |

Im Italian too and...yeah, Napoli style pizza is not crusty, it's thin, soft and elastic so I dont know if this place you are reccomanding is really good. I'll try it out.
For now I feel the best Italian pizza in Shanghai is at The Kitchen, in Pudong. A bit expensive but the location is great and it is really worth! |

Walked into New York Pizza (was desperate) on Beijing Lu at 8.45pm last night. NOT ONE piece of pizza by the slice. Nothing, Nadda. |

Yeah, its frustrating. The last piece is usually gone by 7 or 8. I have never seen fresh looking pizza slice there. It always looks like its been waiting for hours. |

Is Una's a chain? There's one on Eshan Lu near Pudong Nan Lu, but it looks like a real dump from outside. It may be just a copy. |
