Tons of different stories, theories and the like. Latest is that they may turn it into a cultural street and all the bars will move underground. Or they will move to the bar strip that will be developed on Tong Ren Road. Exposure, noise, prosititues, complaints by area residents, fights, etc. Several threads floating around in the forum about Maoming Lu . . .

Not the place it used to be . . . that's the one thing thats for sure!
