Post subject: Found a Cel Phone

I found a Samsung SGHS308 GSM cel phone in the back of a cab yesterday and was wondering if I an just get a sim card and use it? The phone didn't have a sim card in it when I found it. I have a Samsung cel already and want to see if I can transfer all the info from my old phone to this one. Would I be able to keep my old number too? Does anyone know if this can be done? I use China mobile at the moment, is there a better service provider? Thanks

yea, you shouldnt have any problem with transfering stuff over. save everything onto your sim card and use it on the new phone. your sim card is your number, it should work flawlessly as soon as u put it in unless the phone was broken to begin with.

Thanks, I'll try it this weekend. One other thing, my sim card from my phone doesn't fit the phone I found. So i guess that will mean that I will have to get a new number.
